Pageturners for April
We are meeting at the location at 204 S Walnut St for Pageturners this month. A Map of Paradise by Susan Meissner is our month's book. Available to check out at the library.
We also have an author visiting that evening at 5:30 pm, she is launching her book: A Grand Day: The Forgotten Voice of a Farm Woman Through Dust, Depression, and War by Veda Rogers. She gathered her Great Great Grandmother's journals together and published the story through the University Press of Kansas. We will start discussion immediately after her presentation, it is possible that discussion may start closer to 6:30pm. rogers is originally from the Quenemo area and is traveling through this area that week on a book tour.The book is being published at this time, we do not have a copy of this book.
