Basics of Canning In-Person
Retaining Summer's Goodness - Canning/Freezing" Tuesday, June 16th 6:30-7:30pm at Ottawa Library 105 S Hickory
Canning and freezing is a great way to preserve food, but it requires careful preparation, the right tools, and some basic skills to ensure safety and quality. Bob Riedel will guide us through this informative program. Learn how to keep and enjoy those garden vegetables and fruits all through the year. Once you learn the basics, you may attend another class in August where Bob will lead us and we will do some actual canning of the summer harvest.
No registration is necessary, meet us at Ottawa Library 105 S Hickory. Unearth A Story, Adult Summer Reading 2026.
