Accepting Entries: Book Character Pumpkin Patch In-Person
FUN for ALL Ages! RULES below!
Bring your favorite book character to life to help us fill our pumpkin patch display.
Oct. 14th-24th: Deliver your pumpkin with a completed entry form. One entry as an individual.
Oct. 26th: Prize drawing. All entries will be entered into the prize drawing.
Oct. 27th-31st: Pumpkin Pick up. anytime the library is open.
Rules:
1. The main part of your entry must be a pumpkin or gourd, but the rest of your decorations (paint, fabric, glue, etc.) are up to your imagination. Only small & medium sized pumpkins.
2. You may work on your own or with others, maybe even as a family. Only 1 entry as an individual.
3. Pumpkins will be accepted for display from Oct. 14th-24th.
4. By participating, you give the library permission to display the pumpkin, take pictures, and share the photos online. The library is not responsible for any damage.
5. We will NOT accept real pumpkins that have been carved, cut or have holes.
6. We will NOT accept pumpkins with candles, electrical devices, or anything vulgar.
7. Do not use spray paint or watercolor paints.
8. NO large pumpkins.
9. The Library may omit entries that are deemed not appropriate for public display.
10. Pumpkins must be picked up by Saturday, Oct. 31st or they will be discarded.
Pumpkins can represent a book, book character, book series, book theme, and/or comic book!
